Futaba's PCM1024 scheme gives 8 channels of 10 bit resolution.  Channels 1-4 and 6-8 are fully proportional giving over 1000 transmitted servo positions each.  Channel 5 is commanded by a toggle switch on the FP-9CAP thus reducing that channel to a two-position servo command.   There is an additional 2 position channel.  Dual rates, exponential, mixing and many other combinations are easily programmable.  However, if you prefer simple basic operation just reset the program to the basic factory defaults.

Vantec carefully retunes these radios with a spectrum analyzer in compliance with FCC regulations to operate on particular 75 MHz surface frequencies so robot builders and boating enthusiasts can enjoy multi-channel operation of their vehicles.
